Ok, I don't want to do January-March because those are the hot months there. So who can do April? Who can do May? Somebody just tell me a month when everyone can go so I can go nap.

I made the stopper out of a bead and a length of pink leather cord. Then I sanded down the bottle's little hole into a concave scoop so that the bead would sit in it all cozy...

And then this mass o' crazy. That's foiling over agate and then utee over that... Cuz as-was they were boring. And another numinosity thang.

You make stuff. We look at it. We drool.
Gorgeous stuff! I love the names you choose for your pieces. It's as much fun reading them as looking at the pieces.
I make stuff. You make it look incredible. I am honored.
Thank you.
And when you wake up it will be decided... April. I think Beatnheart is OK with that now.
Ahhh, going insane looking at your beautiful things and - the studio is done enough where I can start working tomorrow. Feel like I've not had my legs and arms attached! These are absolutely beautiful.
Question - The one with Kim's amphora, the black hook that fastens? What is that? I feel like I should know what it is, but it's not coming to me.
Should note that it's the top necklace, 'My Soul From Elsewhere' that I'm wondering about. Ha!
He looks out through all other eyes. I'm in love with everything about that piece. The nail is frigging brilliant. The foil and utee on agate astonishing. You never cease to amaze. I went and checked it out on Etsy and the Alan Watts quote sealed the deal for me. Thank you!!
On the Social Order cuff- my imagination went crazy with what "couch drops" might be until I realized that was a "G". Cough drops. They're a real thing. Duh.
Loving it all.
All this foiling has now permeated my consciousness and you've got me at it 'cept I'm too stingy to buy the supplies and tried using gold acrylic paint instead! Really love these pieces.
Absolutely stunning. You out-do yourself every time. Totally stuff to look at. And look at. And look at again.
OHHH! UTEE and gold over stone! I wondered what that was, it looks like Dichoric glass. Dichronic...dickronic...dick...that shiny foil glass. I thought it was that. So much more awesome!!
You post, I look...in wonderment. Exclamation points.
Your work is very cool! Love to learn some of your secrets! As far as the road trip -- what about a beach house? I read they are cheap in off season? We could have a place to gather for workshops and eat or something?
Lori
You put stuff, I think about your trip...
I highly recommend March
It's not too hot, not at all
It will let you, with no effort, enjoy the beaches of Montevideo, which are not at the same level as further East, but nice nonetheless (I know, Marina will hit me for using "nonetheless" and tell me nobody does).
And finally, you get the tail end of Carnaval, something totally awesome. Ask Marina about "Queso Magro".
You make the stuff, and I wonder what it's like to be in your brain for a little while -- there are so many cool things going on, I know!
Subconscious Dad makes some very good points. I like March even better and Carnival? Woop!
fabulous pieces! every one of them so interesting and unique!
