I have nothing to say here.

I thought I'd put up some pictures of stuff on my floor. I don't know why.

Where do I get this need to blog every 2 days? Ah well. Here's some filigree I papered over then totally hit a wall with. I don't think they'd make good earrings with that shape. So there they sit.

Here's these little resin frames. They're scrapbook embellishments. I know! I'm going off the deep end. But they're cuuuuuute. I cut out some backs from tin for them, then some pictures... maybe I'll darken them. That strand of beads were cannibalized from another project. I like to do that. Y'all ever do that? I do that.

Oh and here's a kuchi that I changed up. The original looked like so -->>>>>
Used the dangles elsewheres. Not baaad...
Here's this.

 Here's these.
I clearly have nothing to say.

I have cute bits, though.

Hello little conquistador. Perhaps you shall conquer the heart of a jewelry fan one day...
More things in the making. With tin backings.

This is a tiny cup that I'm using as a bezel. That's a chunk of a super ancient naval offer's uniform. Some little claws from an abandoned carapace I found... where? Life is a blur in service of my obsessions...

That sounded poetic. It's not.
Oh! Yr lovely comments... That's something to say something about. Alienbeader, you should just contact her directly via etsy, easy peasy. Yes I've seen those teeth! Yum. Lol,  ensourdine- 'looks like Swedish cowbells in the best sense' is just never a phrase I expected to hear. And yes, stregata, die is the singular of dice. And yes it sounds weird to everyone. Now I must go pee.

I love seeing the things on your floor. They're more interesting than crime scenes, that's for sure. Which is what I look at all day. And yet again, they COULD be crime scenes...

Maybe while your in there p ing I' ll sneak in and steal all of that crap off yer floor. You have the best collection of stuff I think I ever saw... And it all begins with the stuff doesn't it? Do you ever unload your excess? I'll queue up for that. I could just look at your groovy things and finished stuff for hours..

Ahhhhhh. Papered filigree! It's been ages since you did that technique and I LOVE it! Ok everybody.... Those are mine! Mine, I tell ya!,
and I think they're the perfect shape for earrings fanci. Cuz I just finished a pair of filigree earrings in that exact shape with a large silver through the ear hoop and twisty pearl dangles at the bottom! Course mine aren't papered and while I liked them just fine until I saw your papered ones....you listening people, don't even think about buying them! Mine mine mine!

Thanks for sharing all your fabulous works in progress. They're amazing, as always. :)

It's okay if you have nothing to say. I'm enjoying the pictures. That little telephone! Ooooh!

It's all great stuff! I swear I recognize a silver bead from what my mom referred to as a Guatemalan wedding necklace. If that's what it really is, but she had two verrrrrrry long ones, and as a teen I reworked one of them into one of those connected ring-bracelet glovey things. But I swear, I see just one of those beads to the left of the 10 cut from some money??

Well - I don't know how elaborate the cowbells are in Sweden - not every having seen one - but I know the cowbells in central Europe don't look like your necklaces...
The little mouse and the mouse trap are killing me...

The wordless wonder. I love the one with the number 10 (money?) the little fellow in the centrepiece, my favourite thing - wow. You have some beautiful treasure!

What a coincidence! I have nothing to say on my blog either!

I spy one of my flowerbell beads.

re stregata: I guess you're referring to me mentioning cowbell earlier in another comment, no? anyway, it was just a "figuratively speaking" thing - those gorgeous charm clusters have the rustic, "dangle" and "jingle" feeling of a cowbell. Having been to different parts of Switzerland and Austria for many times I know cowbells never look so elaborate. ;)

fanci: ooh, that keshi reworked was fantastic! The center bead with rhinestone looks like a dewy nipple!

Who but you, has a floor that looks like that? Such extraordinary bits of thing. Oh, that kuchi thingy, all Fancied up - and with bones!! The way things transform after they've been in your magic hands. It's a sort of grungy, dirtied up Midas touch!

Please miss! could you elaborate on the papering technique?

first,I'm impressed you can SEE the floor. second, I think the papered filigree shape would be a cool earring, turn it upside down & do some swag chains/dangles from the bottom....
